- Mobile app (iOS and Android): Select Settings from the bottom right and then select Setup Assistant.
- Desktop app: Select Setup Assistant from the left navigation menu.

About Grasshopper extensions
Your account was created with extension 0 that has call forwarding set up to forward to the contact number you signed up with.
Within your Grasshopper account you have 2 types of extensions: department (0-6) and employee (700-799). Both types function the same and can be used interchangeably. There's also extension 8 that is set aside as your company's name directory.

About Grasshopper call settings
Within your Grasshopper account, you can customize the call experience you want your customers to have. From determining what they see when you call them, to what they hear when they call you, there are many options to suit your needs. You can even set up a text message to be sent automatically to a first time caller if you cannot answer their call.

SMS verification
- For local phone numbers: Register your local phone number to enable texting
- For toll-free phone numbers: Verify your toll-free phone number to enable texting
User invitation
About Grasshopper users
Add employees as users on your Grasshopper account to take calls. Depending on their permissions, users with admin permissions can also update call settings, invite users, and manage billing.
- From the setup assistant, select to add the user's Personal info.
- From Permissions, choose the options for the new user and then select Send invite to send an email to the new user to finish creating their account.
