Give a User Texting Permissions
DEADLINE: As of February 3, 2025, carriers have blocked 100% of unregistered outbound SMS due to a government-mandated regulation to prevent spam. Mobile carriers require the completion of a registration process to continue sending text messages. Register now to avoid further service disruption. Grasshopper cannot expedite the carrier’s review timeline.
Grant multiple users texting permissions for a number or only allow a single user to text from your number.
Before you begin: You must have
admin permissions.
- Sign in at https://nuui.us.grasshopper.com.
- Go to .
- Select the drop-down menu next to the SMS access and then select On next to the number you want the user to have texting permission on.
- Select Off next to the desired phone number to disable texting permissions on a phone number.
