Download and install the Grasshopper app
Download, install, and update the desktop and mobile apps to take advantage of Grasshopper’s features on the go. Available and only guaranteed to work within the U.S. or Canada.
Before you can use the apps, you must have an active user account and access to an extension.
Note: Tablets and iPads are not supported.
Windows
System requirements:
- Windows 10 or later
- 64-bit only
- 4GB of RAM
- 128kbps bandwidth, Latency < 40msec
Tip: If you're experiencing network issues using the desktop app, the following firewall outgoing ports should be opened to allow voice traffic:
- TCP - 443
- UDP - 19302, 16384-32766
- Download Grasshopper for Windows.
- Open and run the downloaded install file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Note: Update the app by opening the desktop app, right-click the Grasshopper icon in the system tray in the bottom right, and then select Refresh.
Mac
System requirements:
- macOS 11.0 or later
Note: The app is only supported on Macs that have the M1 chip or higher.

- Download the Grasshopper app for iOS.
- Select Log in to sign in with your Grasshopper credentials.
Note: Update the app by opening the Grasshopper app within the App Store. If there is an available update, select Update.
Android
System requirements: Android 12.0 or later.
- Download the Grasshopper app for Android.
- Select Log in to sign in with your Grasshopper credentials.
Note: Update the app by opening the Grasshopper app within the Google Play Store. If there is an available update, select Update.
