Change your time zone

Change the time zone for your main greetings, for an extension, or for a user using the steps below.

Change the time zone for your main and away greetings

Update the times that your callers hear either a main greeting or away greeting.

Before you begin: You must have admin permissions.
  1. Sign in to the admin portal.
  2. Go to Settings > Greetings.
  3. Select Change Greeting next to Main Greeting.
  4. From Time Zone under Options, choose the desired time zone from the drop-down menu.
  5. Follow the same steps to change the time zone for the Away Greeting.

Change the time zone for an extension

Updates the time that your call forwarding numbers are set to receive calls.

Before you begin: Admins can manage time zones for all extensions; while users can only manage the time zones for the extension(s) they have access to.
  1. Sign in to the admin portal.
  2. Go to Extensions and then select Edit next to the desired extension.
  3. Select View Details.
  4. Choose your Time Zone from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select Save.

Updates the timestamps of messages and calls for the user.

Before you begin: You must have admin permissions.
  1. Sign in to the admin portal.
  2. Go to Settings > Users.
  3. Select Edit next to a user.
  4. Choose the Time Zone from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select Save & Close.

Change the time zone for an extension

  1. Sign in to the admin portal.
  2. Go to Call management > Extensions.
  3. Select Edit icon next to the desired extension.
  4. From Edit extension information, select the Time zone from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select Save.

Updates the timestamps of messages and calls for the user.

Before you begin: You must have admin permissions.
  1. Sign in to the admin portal.
  2. Go to User management > Users.
  3. Select More icon > Edit next to the desired user.
  4. Choose the user’s Time zone from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select Next > Save.
