You would not want to cancel your account or remove the transferred number from your account until you have confirmed that the transferred number is working with your new provider. We wouldn’t want to leave you without a working number!
Before your account is totally canceled, you’ll also need to check your account and make sure any outstanding bills or fees are paid for. Once that’s done, and the number has been confirmed by your provider, we’ll go ahead and cancel your Grasshopper account.
Please keep in mind that we cannot cancel the account automatically. It is imperative that you request a cancellation either by phone or email after the completion of your number transfer.
