Why don't I get mobile app notifications?
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot mobile app notifications.
Note: Android users, please expand the Android section below for important information regarding notifications.
Grasshopper Mobile App Settings
- From the mobile app, select Settings.
- Select Sync & Notification Settings.
- Ensure that all boxes are enabled for the extension(s) you want to be notified of on this device.
iOS
- Go to your device's settings and then select Notifications.
- Select Grasshopper.
- Customize your notification settings for the app.
Android
Important: Due to Google discontinuing its old method of sending push notifications to Android devices, Grasshopper will release a new app version to the Google Play Store by Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The new version (5.28.0) adheres to the new Google policies and will allow Android users to continue to receive push notifications for your calls and texts. Please update your Grasshopper Android app by Thursday, June 20, 2024 to avoid any service interruptions. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
- Swipe down from the top of your screen to reveal the Notifications box.
- Select Settings from the top right.
- Select Notifications.
- Toggle the slider of the app you want to enable/disable notifications for.
Note: If you don’t see Grasshopper under Notifications, you will need to delete the app and reinstall. When installing the app, your phone will ask you to allow notifications from Grasshopper.
