How do I cancel my account?
You can cancel your Grasshopper account at any time by doing the following.
- Ensure any outstanding Grasshopper bills or fees have been paid.
- Depending on if you want to keep your number or not, do one of the following:
- If you want to keep your number: Transfer your Grasshopper phone number to another carrier. This is done with your new carrier, not by the Grasshopper customer care team. Your new carrier must confirm the transfer was successful before you can proceed with canceling your Grasshopper account. Next, select Contact Support to the right and choose extension 3 from the menu. Be sure to have the following information on hand:
- Account number (Grasshopper phone number).
- The account's 4-digit Primary PIN.
- The last 4 digits of the credit card on file for your account.
- The billing address used for the credit card.
- If you do not want to keep your number: Select Contact Support to the right and choose extension 3 from the menu. Be sure to have the following information on hand when you call:
- Account number (Grasshopper phone number).

- The last 4 digits of the credit card on file for your account.
- The billing address used for the credit card.
