Can I specify a date/time to transfer my local numbers?
While we’d love to offer a custom time for transfers, we simply aren’t able to do this.
We’ll always request the earliest possible transfer due date from your current provider, and that date will vary by provider. Your provider can choose to provide an earlier completion date than the requested due date, but we aren’t able to choose the transfer completion date.
Grasshopper is also unable to specify what time a number is activated because our underlying transfer system is completely automated. The process is automated in order to avoid any downtime. This means your number may get activated before you receive our notification email. Your number will be transferred and activated at any time between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59 EST on the date of completion.
