Your Customer Service Record (CSR) refers to all the information your current service provider has about your phone number and your customer account. It will include the following important account info:
- Authorizing name
- Business name (for business accounts)
- Account type (business or residential)
- Service address
- Billing phone number
- Current service provider name
- Current service provider account number
If you’re transferring a local number to Grasshopper Connect, it's highly recommended that you obtain your Customer Service Record (CSR) from your current provider first. Contact your current provider and ask for their "Port Out" or "Transfer Out" department.
If you're transferring a local number out of Grasshopper Connect, please submit a request to our Customer Care team to obtain your CSR. Note that it may take up to 3 business days to receive.
