Some of LogMeIn’s services include telecommunications features which may allow users to dial in from multiple locations (e.g., into a conference bridge). Due to the nature of these communication connections, they cannot be classified as either entirely interstate nor entirely intrastate and may potentially have characteristics of both. In other words, connections may be occur in state or across multiple state lines. Many state and local jurisdictions tax these types of communications as if they were entirely intrastate (in state). LogMeIn includes state telecommunications tax on customer invoices for these services, which are listed separately from any applicable sales tax.
